Everything worth having comes from routine. The early start, the work nobody sees, the detail you fix because you'd know if you didn't. Discipline isn't grim, done properly it's the most enjoyable thing there is. That's what Play means here. Not the opposite of work, but what work becomes when you love it enough to do it right.

The clothing follows the same rule. Heavier fabric than is sensible. Fewer pieces, short runs, no restock schedule, no discounting to shift stock. Quiet branding, because the standard isn't something you announce. Made to wear in, not wear out.
